Changes

Shawty where you been?
Feels like a long time, long long time since I seen ya
Yes, it has girl,
And I know I said some pretty dumb things to you before
But girl you know I didn’t mean it

Hello.

Forgive me, readers, for I have sinned. It’s been …. 72 days since my last confession.

A lot can happen in 72 days. Some of you may have forgotten about this place (I’m talking about me). Others may have found some other place for randomness. Others may have moved into the great beyond but I hope not. I hope you are all well. Alive and well. Hydrating well. Water is vital. If you can’t get any, let me show you where you can get some.

Lol.

Anyway, in the last 72 days since I posted that chilling post,  a lot has happened. I’ve grown older and wiser and more patient quite a bit. But I have also forgotten basic sentence structure and the ability to spell. Thank Jesus for Grammarly. This English …

Also, as some of you may already know, I went ahead and tied the knot. Entered into a binding covenant if you will. Till death, Y’all! Kind of like Family Bank. You’ve seen their tagline?

For life. They’re not even playing.

So now I’m a married man. My wife is hovering over my shoulder as I write this. She’s so amazing 🙂

Okay, she’s gone. Now I can be honest. She’s so annoyi – Ouch!

…She’s still amazing.

Married life is an adjustment. I think that’s why God told His people that the honeymoon period should last a year.

If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.

Deuteronomy 24:5

As you can see, it’s the man’s job to bring happiness to his wife. But it’s so frickin’ hard when the wife doesn’t know what she wants…

Ouch!

It’s a joke! Stop hitting me, woman!

All joking aside though, married life is fun. Read as “I don’t have to do the laundry and/or the dishes ever again. Also, read as “Legal sex!” IORN, the dry spell is over.

The other change I wanted to talk to you guys about was the blog moving to a new domain. Yes, I stopped being cheap and bought a domain so this is the official information that this particular address will cease to be and we will be meeting at https://thispostisabout.com.

It looks more or less the same but with fewer ads.

And I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be disciplined enough to dish out posts on the regular and not 72 days apart from each other.

Alright. That’s it for today. Let me go bring happiness to my wife if you know what I mean.

Talking about spooning.
